Understanding Binocular Vision Dysfunction in Hypermobility and Neurodiversity
People with Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome (EDS) or Hypermobility Spectrum Disorder (HSD) often experience Binocular Vision Dysfunction (BVD), causing double vision, dizziness, headaches, and balance issues. Due to connective tissue laxity and neurological effects, the eyes may struggle to align properly. Recognizing and treating BVD through vision therapy or prism lenses can greatly improve daily function and quality of life.
